The Grace Museum
The Grace Museum has been a landmark in Abilene, Texas since the mid 1980’s. What originally was built as a hotel in 1909 was repurposed by the Abilene Preservation League in 1987 and has since hosted the people of Abilene and the Big Country for events, art shows, children’s museum and art classes.
Scope of Project
The Ballroom
The Grace called Big Picture AVL in to address several issues. First was replacing out of date projection screens and projectors with “The Frame” tv’s from Samsung in the ballroom. We also took time to update their Audio system with a brand new digital mixer from Presonus, ULX-D microphones from Shure and we repositioned their main speakers.
The Loggia
The Loggia also received a new rack mixer from Presonus as well as two new ULX-D wireless microphones from Shure
The Conference Room
When the Grace asked us to look at the conference room to see what solutions would meet their needs we had several conversations around what the intended use of the room would be. After talking through everything, we landed on a Zoom compatible system with an Aver PTZ camera as well as two Aver speakerphones. This was driven a dell computer and displayed on a 75” Samsung Frame tv.
